We are currently working on Chapter 4 of the textbook, pgs. 82- 105, The History of Southwest and Central Asia. The state standards being covered are as follows:

- Explain the origins of Judaism as seen in the Hebrew peoples.

- Explain the origins and spread of Christianity to 312 CE.

- Explain the origins and spread of Islam to 1258 CE including the religious, cultural, and military factors.

- Explain the origins of the Ottoman Empire.

Assignments this week:

Monday- Complete review on the Ottoman Empire.

Tuesday- Study for the Ottoman Empire Test which will be given on Wednesday.

Wednesday- Oral report

Thursday- Asia crossword puzzle

Friday- chapter main ideas
