Good Evening, Parents and Students, This week starts with Monday as a Gray Day, Tuesday as a Purple Day, and so on. This week we are working on The Americas - Setting: Political and Physical maps. We are going to study North America, Middle America (Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean), and South America. We should continue the unit until the week before Spring Break. The students will have homework on Monday and Tuesday which is to finish labeling and coloring their political/physical maps. This week, Feb. 22nd - 26thth, is the Setting; next week, March 1st - 5th will be the History and About the Region; March 8th - 12th will be People and Culture and Events Today. March 15th - 19th is Spring Break! Please make sure your child HAS an ISN(spiral), their scissors, glue, colored pencils, pencil sharpener, blue pens, black pens, and textbook with them when they come to class. We use these items every day. I am looking forward to having an exceptional new year with your child, and guiding them on a journey to "boldly go where they have never gone before" - Around the World!
