WELCOME STUDENTS AND PARENTS!!!!

Late Work Policy:

***All late work deductions will follow the school late work policy, which requires that AIP be given if an assignment is not turned in on the due date. Student must notify parent of the AIP appointment. Failure to attend the AIP appointment and complete the work will yield a zero.

***All late work will automatically be assigned a 25 point deduction.

***I do not accept incomplete work, it will be considered a missing assignment and AIP will be assigned. A 10 point deduction will be given in these circumstances.

***If directions are not followed on an assignment, meaning it has not been completed correctly, I will assign AIP in order for you to complete the assignment correctly. A 10 point deduction will be given in these circumstances.

Required daily supplies:
1. Pencil
2. Composition notebook (not a spiral)
3. Colored pocket folder with brads
4. Glue stick (1-2 per month)
5. Colored pencils
Optional: safety goggles of your own. I do have a class set, but encourage all students to purchase their own pair.


***Students are to use pencil only! No work will be accepted in INK!


ASSIGNMENTS & HOMEWORK.  Please check your son/daughters agendas, regularly to keep track of upcoming Science homework.

Monday -- (P) 10/26:  Best Beaks Lab data collection.

Tuesday - (G) - 10/27: Best Beaks data collection.  6th period:  project on biomes due.  7th and 8th period:  rough draft of biome brochure project due.
Hmwk: none.

Wednesday - (P) - 10/28: Graph data, analyze results and conclude Best Beaks Lab.
Hmwk: Conclusion questions, if not completed in class.


Thursday - (G) - 10/29: Students will watch video on food webs and ecosystems and answer video questions in order to create a conservation flyer.
Hmwk:  none.


Friday - (P) - 10/30: Students will watch video on food webs and ecosystems and answer questions in order to create a conservation flyer.
Hmwk: none.
