Welcome to Park's Page!!

Materials needed for Math:  Agenda, Team Binder, 1 subject composition book, Pencils, 1 colored pen (red, blue, purple, or green) colored pencils (1 pack is needed for Miners team)
Optional Class Needs:  Kleenex, Individually wrapped non-chocolate candy.

Math Guidelines:
1.  A weekly work packet will be given each Monday.  All work in the packet should be stapled and turned in each Friday.  You should not wait until Thursday night to begin the work.  Items included in the packet are:
*Warmups
*Week Essentials
*Essential Questions (1-3 per week)
*Homework Assignments
2.  Notes are given in class depending on the lesson.  Foldables will be used often to replace notes.
3.  Assessments will be given for each quarter as a pre and post assessment.  The pre test will count as an effort grade but the post assessment counts as a test grade.  Concept quizzes and tests will be given as well.
4.  Pencils are a must!!  All work should be done in pencil.  Pencils should be sharpened at the beginning of class.  I have no problem with mechanical pencils.  Pens are only used to check work.
5.  Ask questions if you are unsure!  Afterschool tutoring is offered as needed.  Homework board will show tutoring times for the week.
6.  If you are absent, it is your responsibility to check the daily folders for your work.  Let me know if you have nothing in the folder.  You will be given 2 days for each day absent to make up the work.
7.  I am here to help!  I want everyone to succeed!

Grading is based on:       65% - Classwork/Daily work, Tests/Projects      25% - Tests/Projects
                    10% - Homework
