Happy New Year, everyone!  We are back and planning an exciting season for the Blanchard Performing Arts area. 

We are inviting students to join the chorus during the next two weeks.  All interested students should ask in the music room, and bring a note signed at home that indicates permission.  Our Chorus is preparing to sing the National Anthem at the Civic Center on Thursday, February 4th for the Cottonmouths hockey game.  We are also preparing for our Honors Chorus representatives to participte in our annual GMEA district three Honors concert at Hardaway High School on Saturday, January 23 at 7:00PM. 

Ashlyn Dismukes, A.J. Norris,Mary Elizabeth Davis, Kayla Harding and Shakira Hampton have won the honor of representing Blanchard this year.  All are invited. 

In March, we will perform for the annual Elementary Chorus Festival at Johnson Elementary School.  This will be a field trip during the school day.  The date will be announced soon.  Sorry, parents are not invited to this event due to limited space available in Johnson's auditorium.

We will have students performing for our next PTA meeting which will be on Tuesday, February 2.
