[ENGLISH 11]  Section A.  Read chapter 1 in The Great Gatsby and respond to the questions for discussion next class.

[ENGLISH 11]  Section B.  Students are reminded that they will be writing a test on The Great Gatsby on Monday.  Students are also asked to hand in their independent reading assignment at that time.

[ENGLISH 11]  Section B.  Test on "Macbeth" Monday, November 23.  Students are also reminded that both their in-class and personal response writing assignments are due tomorrow.  Students should also be working to complete the non-fiction reading assignment that is also due on Monday, November 23.

[ENGLISH 11]  Section B.  Students are reminded that their persuasion letter assignment is due on Monday.  The assignment given today in class ("Your Personal Goals") is due on Tuesday.

[ENGLISH 11]  Section B.  Class time was given today to work on the persuasive writing assignment and to work on vocabulary review sheets.  The review sheets will not be collected, but the writing assignment is due on Monday.

[ENGLISH 11]  Section C.  The deadline for your writing assignment has been extended until tomorrow.  We are currently working on "Write Traits" lessons 1 and 2 for the next few classes.
