Be BOLD! Celebrate Christ!

Science Olympiad will not meet Wednesday because of conferences. A schedule has been posted at school and students received a copy. Students should check to see which events will be covered each week. We will walk students to the Gathering Area for pick-up. Please be prompt.

Math 

We will continue with subtraction time quizzes for two more weeks. We are wrapping up our graphing focus and will begin geometry during the week. We will work with protractors and measure angles, identify lines and shapes.

Science 

Round 2 of YOYOS was great. The boys and girls did a fantastic job presenting demonstrations and reports. Some even ventured into experiments. 
We will begin our VEGGIE U unit this week. Look for a letter and permission slip from your child(ren). We want to fully experience the program and it involves veggie tasting. Mrs. Miller has agreed and if you do not want your child to taste dime-sized pieces of various vegetables, please send a note to school. All students will be encouraged to participate. We journal our findings and make comparisons as we progress through the program.

Homework

Boys and girls will be keeping a diary of their meals for seven consecutive days. Please remember to include snacks and beverages.
