Parents: We are starting a new unit.  We will be studying NCSCOS objectives 6.03 + 6.05. Ears/Eyes/Waves/Light.

Monday 11/16/09:

CLASSWORK:

1) Complete your own investigation on SOIL.

HOMEWORK:

1) Clean out folders.  Keep ALL old work at home in a safe place.

Replenish your paper and pencil supply.  Buy yourself a pencil sharpener.

TUESDAY:  11/17/09

CLASSWORK:

1) Reading/Student performing : Life during the dust bowl.

2.  Free writing/journal entry.

3.  Grade test together

HOMEWORK:

1)Volunteers, please bring in a metal spoon and a long piece of string if you have any. Due this Fri.

WEDNESDAY:  11/18/09

CLASSWORK:

1) Board notes.  Topic: How we hear sounds.

2.  Project / experiment presentations

HOMEWORK:

1)  Read over then create a song or poem with todays' board notes.  Due THIS Fri.

THURSDAY:  11/19/09

CLASSWORK:

1)  Exploring sound worksheet / use information from board notes.

2.  Start new Vocabulary sheet. "Ears/ Eyes"    ***Due next Tuesday 11/24.
