In addition to producing Bulldog News, 8th grade video production also works with the Story of Movies which is a national film curriculum based around the study of three classic films. Students will begin by studying "To Kill A Mockingbird" for the First Quarter, "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington" in the Second Quarter, and "The Day The Earth Stood Still" during the Third Quarter. The curriculum integrates film study, language arts, math, science and social studies.

Bulldog News is currently working on entires for the "Togther In Education Contest" sponsored by Harris-Teeter. They are also about to begin their 7th show of the year and will be studying the film "The Day The Earth Stood Still". Please consult the schedule below for the shows this year.
