*Tips for Reading Aloud to Your Child- Before you begin reading a book, say the title of the book and the name of the author. Look at the cover illustration and ask your child what they think the story will be about. .Make reading interactive .Ask them questions about what they think will happen next in the story. .Point out New Information .Relate your child's experiences to actions in the book After You Read the Book- .Engage your child in a conversation about the story. Talking about the story helps develop comprehension skills and important thinking skills. .Encourage your child to share mental images related to the book. For example, "How do you think it would feel to swim in the sea when its dark?" I hope you enjoy reading some of these books to your child.
