Language –  Strengthening Our Writing Skills

·         Daily Language test Friday

Math -      Measurement

·         We will have graded class activities this week

·         Measurement test next week

·         Word Problems Week 18 – test Wednesday, February 15^th

Social Studies –  Our Government- test Friday

·               We will have a short quiz on the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution on  

                                Wednesday

·               Daily Geography test Friday

Science – We will be completing a Science task (LEAP preparation) in class this week

Upcoming Events:

·         Monday, February 13^th  – Progress Reports will be sent home.  Please check for these in your child’s folder.

·         Tuesday, February 14^th – Crazy Hat and Sock Day – This will cost 7 starbucks to participate.

·         Tuesday, February 14^th – Valentine’s Day.. Your child may send Valentines and candy (individually wrapped) to distribute at the end of the day.. Remember, we have 25 students.  No cupcakes or cakes, please!

·         February 20^th – 22^nd – Mardi Gras holiday – no school

·         Thursday, February 23^rd – Field Trip to the Children’s Museum.  Please return the permission slips/$3 together.
