I sent out this email to all the coaches from last year. Ifyou are no longer a coach and do not want any more emails from me please let meknow and I will remove you from my list. If you have not received this emailplease contact me so I can add you to my list. This email, the schedule and the team numbers can be found as attachments ( tab-my files) on this website.

There are a few changes this year:

1.        1. The last event ends at 3pm instead of 4 with theawards ceremony starting at 4:15 instead of 5:30.  

2.   We will be running 20 events and you MUST compete inall the events EXCEPT helicopter. This allows us to have more judges per eventand finish grading earlier in order to end the day earlier. If you do notcompete in an event your team will receive a no show score, which is 2+ thenumber of teams competing. This will be a score of around 28.  

3 .    Helicopter is a medal only event. You will notbe penalized if you do not compete in this event. You will also not help yourteam in their overall standings. However any student (grades 6-9) from yourschool may compete in this event. They do not have to be one of the 15registered team members. The event runs from 1-3:30 and you will have to signup for a time at registration.

4.       All the teams have been assigned new teamnumbers. Schools with multiple teams will have  all their teams competing duringthe same time block.  The numberswere assigned mostly in alphabetical order. I used last years registrationlist. The list allows teams to be added or removed.

5.     Theschedule is attached.  Please payclose attention to some new grouping of teams.

6.    Impounds will be starting earlier at 7:30.Bridge has an optional impound. There is no impound for this event, howeverimpounding your bridge will be greatly appreciated to insure the vent runs ontime.

7.    Battery buggy is the only event that you have tosign up for a time during registration. We will have 2 tracks running at thesame time to accommodate all the teams.

8.    The coaches meeting for our region will be onWednesday 10/28 @ 4:30 at Scarsdale Middle School: Room -Fountain 79

9.    Medals will be awarded from 6^th placeand better and teams trophies will be awarded from 10^th place andbetter.

10.   A new school award will be given to the school that scores the best of any schoolthat has    been participating for 3 years or less.
