Notes for Week of Feb.6-Feb.10

Hope everyone enjoyed their visit to the Little House last Tuesday. The children really enjoyed having their special company (parents, grandparents,uncles ) see them in their school.

February is very busy: Valentine's Day, Presidents' Day and Dental Health Month. We will have a Valentine Party on Tuesday, Feb. 14th. The children may bring in Valentine cards. Please write the names very clearly because the children will be finding their own cards to put in their Valentine basket. If you want your child to have pizza for lunch on the 14th, please send in $2 per slice by Thursday, Feb. 9th. The children will not need to bring snack because we will be having special Valentine treats. Thank you!

Report cards will be going home on Friday,Feb. 10th. There will be Parent Teacher Conferences on Monday, Feb. 13th. No appointments are necessary. I will be in the main school from 12:30PM to 4:00PM on the lower level. Dismissal will be at 11:30AM on the 13th.

We will be working on the letter D this week. We will begin a unit on dinosaurs. The children will work on dinosaur puzzles; they will learn songs and we will read books about dinosaurs. Captain Crunch was a hit last week! The children loved eating his cereal too!!

We will be making Valentine projects this week-some of them will be a secret!! We will also be celebrating Abraham Lincoln's birthday on Friday by making a special log cabin house.

We will also be working on finishing our Winter and Nutrition Books.
