Dear parent or guardian:

My name is Tim Hill and I will be working with your child at the Friedman Middle School while the regularly assigned teacher is on leave. 

I am a licensed Massachusetts teacher with current certification in Special Needs, Moderate Disabilities Pre-K to 8^th grade. 

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English/Writing/Communications from the University of Massachusetts, as well as a Master’s degree in Education from Simmons College, and have also completed a requisite program in Special Needs through Simmons.  

My teaching experience includes working with students in the following capacities: inclusion, general education, both moderate and severe Special Needs, behavioral settings, and as a classroom teacher at an international program serving children and young adults with Autism.

I have been trained in non-violent crisis management, passive and restraint based programs (NAPPI, CPI), First Aid and CPR.
