S7L5. Students will examine the evolution of living organisms through inherited characteristics that promote survival of organisms and the survival of successive generations of their offspring. a. Explain how physical characteristics of organisms have changed over successive generations (e.g. b. Describe ways in which species on earth have evolved due to natural selection. c. Explain how the fossil record found in sedimentary rock provides evidence for the long history of changing life forms.
MONDAY: 1. Review all information from last week. 2. Students will play the Mating Game from a website as a class to practice natural selection. 3. We will finish our moths from Friday, and begin working on our stories to be composed from our data results of last week's computer lab visit. Please see rubric on back of lab for details (due Wednesday). HW - STUDY - Evolution test Wednesday!!
