5th GRADE ART NEWS UPDATE: 5/9/12 - Tomorrow students will be in DCAS testing. Friday, they'll have a substitute, but will still be able to work on their weaving project. Have a wonderful weekend!

5th GRADE ART NEWS UPDATE: 5/4/12 - Students took Quiz #3 on Monday and prepared their looms for weaving. They are now weaving their piece. Next week we'll continue. 7th GRADE ART NEWS UPDATE: 5/9/12 - I Made a change in lesson. We've started a lesson in abstract/realism and famous American female artist Georgia O'Keeffe. Students have begun a new project abstracting a natural object. Have a great weekend!

Next week we'll begin a new unit, which will include the works of the Wyeth family, their illustrations, realist style and figure drawing.
