Homework: I view homework as that work which is started in class and not completed! I also view it as projects/AR readings needed to be done at home.

(6) books MUST be tested on by the end of the 9 week grading period! Pay very close attention to the emailed progress reoprts received on Fridays. An empty space will appear in the slot for the grade for the 25 Book Standard until a test has been taken. When a test has been taken, a grade will be put in. In order for a grade to be placed in the slot, a student must make a passing score of 70 on the test. If no test is taken by a specified date, a grade of 0 will be entered.

Monday- Oct. 26

Students will:

1. Review the story entitled "Three Skeleton Key" pgs. 65-76.

2. Make sure the Reading Check pg. 77 is completed.

3. Alone, work on #4 pg. 78. This will be the project for the story!

4. Read AR book and take a test!

Tuesday- Oct. 27

Students will:

1. Be instructed on the "NEW" way the Georgia Book Standard will be implemented.

2. Read grade level AR book and take an AR test! This procedure needs to be done for ALL (6) books.

3. Place crossword puzzles on the table to be graded!

Wednesday- Oct. 28

Students will:

1. Go to the library as a class to return, renew, and/or check out books. They will also have an opportunity to visit the Book Fair!

2. Define Word List #5 and write the Fictional story using the words correctly based on the definition.

Thursday- Oct. 29

Students will:

1. Continue working on assignments not completed!

Friday- Oct. 30

Students will:

1. Continue working!

In order for a student of mine to participate in the "FUN" activities scheduled during CATS class, he/she must have tested on (1) book and received a score of 70 or better and have NO missing assignments.
