April 5, 2010 - Algebra worksheet, (little booklet on regularities) If not completed in class today, please bring to class completed as soon as possible.

Feb 17, 10 - We've been working with Ratio and Rate.  Students have begun a webquest in the library last week and will be given more classtime to finish Friday Feb 19 to finish.  If more time is needed please come and see to work something out.  We began our exploration of rate with a pulse taking activity today and will continue our exploration over the next few classes.  Don't for get to do any corrections from any handed back assignment for extra points.

Jan 29, 10 - In class we have been working on calculating pourcentages.  If you have not completed the assignment from the last 4 classes, please complete them for Monday.  Q# 18-pg 241, Q#16-pg247, Q#13-pg254.  These questions are due monday. 

Jan 15, 10 - Its hard to believe that two weeks have already passed since the winter break.  In Math, we have been working on dividing fractions.  Handouts 3.5, 3.6, and 3.7 should now be handed in if you would like your correcitons before next week's quiz.  Math quiz on dividing fracitons Friday, January 22, 2010

Dec 09, 09 - for those who have not handed in question # 12 pg, 134 of the text, please do so as soon as possible.  Handout 3.5 is now for homework, due Monday Dec 14, or as soon as your done.

Dec 07, 09 - Term 1 is now done and Term 2 is underway.  Students have received their quiz's.  The Quiz is to be signed by parents and returned with corrections done.  Half a point is awarded for all correct corrections.  Complete question # 10 and 11 in the text, pg 133-134 to review in class tomorrow.

November 27, 09 - Math handout 3.3 should now be handed in, if it hasn't been already.  Come see if you have any missing assignments, all term 1 assignments need to be handed in no later than 3:30 Wednesday, December 2, 09. 

November 18, 09 - Math handout 3.1 and 3.2 should now be handed in. If you are not complete, please have the handout in by Monday November 23, 09.  We are currentely working on handout 3.3, due Monday November 23, 09.  Math test Thursday November 26, 09. 

November 03, 09 - Sorry for the lack of updates.  Students have been working on multiplying and dividing fractions.  The first math booklet for marks has been handed out and class time has been given for it.  It is now for homework due Friday November 6.

October 16, 09 - This week we wrapped up our first math unit, analyse des donnees.  Students worked their way through a test.  Results will be in next week.  We also started our new unit, multiplying and dividing fractions.  Students enjoyed a hands on activating activity.   

Sept 30, 09 - In yesterdays class, we continued working on misleading diagrams.  Students had two periods to work on their handout 7.2.  If not completed in class, it was sent home as homework. 

Sept 25, 09 - This week, we began looking at misleading diagrams. 

Sept 22, 09 - Today we corrected questions 8-11 in our math texts.  Students where given a opportunity to ask any questions before beging work on the handout 7.1 Choisir un diagramme approprié.  If not finished in class, students will complete the hand out as homework due next class.

Sept 17, 09 - Today, students where sent home with their Math Textbooks as well as the math textbook contract.  Both parents and students should sign this contract and get it back to me as soon as possible.  We continued out study of various diagrams.  Students have questions 5,6,7 for homework to be done for tomorrow.

Sept 15, 09 - Quick review of diagrams and began working in our text books.

Sept 14, 09 - Today we begin the Stats unit and looked at various diagrams.
