ESOL Boiling Springs Intermediate

Welcome to the ESOL website for Boiling Springs Intermediate School.  The purpose of this site is to keep everyone aware of what your student is doing in my class.  I have also included some helpful websites to help learn and practice English.  My goal is to help your student become proficient in English.  Our main focus is writing, reading, and learning new vocabulary.  Our weekly plans include one, some, or all of those areas.  With a lot of practice, your student will become more proficient in English and then, hopefully more successful in the regular classroom.

May 17-21

 Please remind your child that we still have two weeks of school left.  They need to remember to follow the rules and be respectful like they have been the entire year.  Some students are beginning not to do this.  Thanks for your help!!

5th grade and 6th grade:  This week we will be working on making an ABC book about 5th grade here at BSIS.  The students will be writing and illustrating a page or two in the class book. We will then be putting it into a storyboard so that we can enjoy it on the promethean board!
