Our year is coming to a close and we have enjoyed helping your child learn over the past year. Thank you for all of the help and support you have given us throughout the year - we could not have done it without you!!

 
 All testing has been completed.  Please continue to work with your child over the summer months.

A good website for learning about letter recognition, letter sounds, and other fun games and activities is www.starfall.com.


Teacher Challenge:

  Parents, ask your child about writing and reading: read and write left to right and top to bottom, 1st and last name begin with capital letters and others or lower case, what are the letters that make up their name, letter recognition, letter sounds, letters make words, words make sentences, how do we know a sentence is over (a period),  when reading, show me the words, show me the pictures, tell me what you think the book is about, did you like the book (yes/no, why or why not), etc.
 



REMINDERS
 
 
Please remember to send in money for DVD (cash only).
 
All money sent to school should be in a sealed envelope with the child and teacher's name on the outside of the envelope and what the money is for.
 

Try to read to your child every day!( and don't forget to read with expression~~)
