Research Famous First for Hispanic Americans.  List five Hispanic Americans that were the first to do something for society.  Must include their name and the contribution that was made.  Periods 1-2-3 Due Friday, Sept. 18, Periods 4 & 5 Due:  Monday, Sept. 21, 2009. 

Period 4 also needs to complete reading the Amigo Brothers in the literature book and answer questions 1-7 on pg. 254.  Students must write out questions.

Create a Venn Diagram Comparing/Contrasting Felix & Antonio from Amigo Brothers.  List 10 differences and similarities. 

Pds 1-2-3 Due:  September 22, 2009, Pds. 4-5 Due:  Sept. 23, 2009. 

Abraham Lincoln Essay due: Period: 1, 2,3, thursday, September 24, 2009.  Periods: 4, 5 due on September 25, 2009.

Bring a picture of you and your pet sharing a special moment.  If you do not have a pet, bring in a picture out of a book/magazine of a pet that you would like to have.
