Reading : "Splash" is the story we will be reading this week and next.

Spelling Words: shed, hen, wet, red, then, pet, away, good, into, put.
Bonus Word: Thanksgiving
Spelling test are every Friday

You may want to practice having your child not only spell the words orally, but to write it as well.

Phonics: Short "e" 

Grammar: Irregular Plural Nouns

Math- We will be finishing up Chapter 4 - Tally charts, picture graphs and bar graphs.


Science: Rain and why it is so important for the earth.

Social Studies- Pilgrims and  the story of the First Thanksgiving.
REMINDERS:

Please check your child's homework folder daily.

Please remember to read with your child the book in the bag sent home every Friday and return it on Monday.

Starting next week your child will be coming home three times a week with a twenty-five question two minute time test.  We are trying to increase accuracy along with speed in computation.  Every Friday these facts will lbe on each spelling test.
