Reading: This week we will be working in small groups with our leveled readers.

Spelling: No spelling test this week.  We will have a spelling bee on Friday.

Phonics: Review of short and long vowels and phonetic rules.

Math: This week we will continue with measurement and practicing math facts.

Social Studies: Weekly Reader: Summer Fun

I will be sending home a Memory Book of  your child's journey in first grade.  I hope you enjoy it.

I can't believe that the year is about to end.  I really enjoyed teaching all of your children.
