Thank you to all the golfers (and suppporters) of SGS Golf Outing! The date for the Golf Outing is around the corner and there is still time to register to play. We hope you can round up a 4-some to join us on October 19th at North Hills C.C. for a great time, fun and a way to support SGS!  Thank you!!!            

School pictures are October 15. Bring your smile!!! School uniforms are worn for this occasion! The switch from summer to winter uniform begins October 15, however inquiries have been made to wear the summer uniform for pictures, this is fine. Remember that "winter" gym uniform is worn Friday, October 16! Thank you for your cooperation!!!

Today's communication envelope has a few pieces of important information for you to review. There is a green colored page describing the Home and School Meeting for all parents, Thursday, October 22. You won't want to miss this informative evening and excellent presenter.  Your child's education, kindergarten through grade 8, for the future is important to US and we need you to know what it is all about. We look forward to seeing you at this meeting.

Also, in a sealed envelope you have recieved (grades 4-8) the password, etc. for you to review the grades of your child/children. on line. Please keep this in a safe spot for your use. While reviewing this information you also received a golden rod Parent Conference page. Please read it carefully and return it to school if a conference is requwsted.

Tuition payments are arriving steadily! Please be reminded that payment number 3 is due! We are hoping that this steady pace continues and no one falls into arrears! THANK YOU for your response to this financial matter.

Teaching Touching Safety" will take place for students during the week of October 19.  A copy of the program is available for your review in the school office.

We are working cooperatively with the Springfield School District regarding H1N1 and passing on information that is helpful for ALL of us. In an attempt not to repeat information please check www.sdst.org  On the main page click on Up Front and there is a site for H1N1 information. (You have already received a letter from the Office of Catholic Education's Superintendent!) We will keep you informed as information arrives concerning the vaccine, etc.
