Week of February 5th-February 10th: Hello Parents, Thank you all for coming to Open House last week. The children had a great time & I hope you all did too! This week we are continuing our Alphabet Unit. We are doing the letter "Dd." We will be learning how to write our names as well with the first letter as the capital and the rest lowercase. We will be continuing our Nutrition Unit this week for dental health month. Dr. Carla the Dentist will be visiting us on Thursday and we will be learning all about Dental Health. This week we will be talking about the Meat Group. Tomorrow, I will be sending home another "Grocery List Sheet." For homework please help the children cut out pictures, label them, and glue them on the page of items that are in the Meat Group. They will bring it in on Friday and discuss their lists in class. Some examples are fish, pork, hamburgers, chicken etc. Friday, February 10th- "Show and Tell"- Your children may being in one item that starts with the letter "Dd" this week. Please make sure the item fits in their backpacks.
