Oct/ Nov:Students are now working on building number sense. Through rational number, students are exploring the relationship between fractions, decimals and percentages. Students have been comparing and ordering fractions using benchmarks, and other strategies learned in class. Next topics include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of decimals

Sept: Students are working in groups to interpret data found in graphs. From their observations, students are finding the mean, median, mode and range from the data displayed in the graphs.
