It looks like it is shaping up to be a great year!  We are so excited about the upcoming year.  I am please to be working with Mrs. Kraigsley this year and we are delighted to welcome Mrs. Gallagher to our school as our third fourth grade teacher.  

What do you need to know about fourth grade this year?  First, you may be wondering if we will be switching classes this year.  Yes, we will.  Our third graders really made some improvements last year while switching classes at the end of the year, so we decided to continue this year.  Mrs. Kraigsley will be teaching Math, Mrs. Gallagher will be teaching Reading and I will be teaching Science and Social Studies.  We will each teach writing with our homeroom classes.  

With all of these changes, I bet you are wondering if our favorite field trip is still on.  Yes!  We have been approved to attend the Outer Banks Field Trip at the end of the year.  We have no exact dates at this point in time.  We will be updating you as information develops.  I have been assured that there will be fund raising opportunities so that all students will have the opportunity to participate in this wonderful learning experience.
