7th Grade English 3/15 - GOALS - TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH NEW LATIN ROOT WORDS Students participated in a vocabulary activity. HW - Final draft is due TOMORROW. 3/16 - GOALS - TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH NEW LATIN ROOT WORDS, TO PREPARE FOR TAKING NOTES FOR A RESEARCH PROJECT Students participated in a vocabulary activity and then learned to take notes for a research project. 3/17 - GOALS - TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH NEW LATIN ROOT WORDS, TO PREPARE FOR TAKING NOTES FOR A RESEARCH PROJECT Students received their new vocabulary words. They did a vocabulary activity with those words and continued working on taking notes. 3/18 - GOALS - TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH NEW LATIN ROOT WORDS, TO PREPARE FOR TAKING NOTES FOR A RESEARCH PROJECT, TO USE COMPREHENSION STRATEGIES Students finished up any notes that they needed to before handing it in, and they discussed their answers to the vocabulary activity from yesterday.
