Make Certain you have your artist and artwork chosen before you arrive on Monday.
With the arrival of flu season I would like to ask a favor of you. I am currently almost out of anti-bacterial hand soap, wash clothes, and most importantly disinfecting surface cleaner and wipes. If you are able to donate any of these materials to the art room I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you
Portfolios
The first page of your portfolio should be a title page with the following information. Name, Class, Date of final, Mr. Hunter
The second page of your portfolio should be an index listing the different sections of your portfolio. Use the name or description of the assignment as the title for each section. Be specific as to the content of each section. Just like chapter heading and subheadings in a textbook.
Begin your portfolios by arranging all work in chronological order from the beginning of the semester to the end.
All work pertaining to each assignment should be grouped together, dividers between assignments are not necessary but would be helpful for organization. All handwritten work should be retyped if it cannot be read. Include sketches, thumbnails, handouts, critiques, and finished assignments, when possible. If the work is too large to go into the portfolio or it is a 3D assignment a PHOTOGRAPH OF THE FINISHED WORK should be placed in each section. It does not have to be an amazing high quality photo, a quick digital shot is fine, but one must be included for each artwork.
Remember your portfolio is going to be counted as 50% of your final exam grade. Be as absolutely complete, accurate, neat and creative as possible.
