Kindergarten School Page

Dear Parents and Families,

Hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather that we have been blessed with.  It is hard to believe that we are approaching the last 2 months of school!! Below you will find some upcoming events and information about what we are learning in the classroom. 

In reading/language arts we have begun  studying about neighborhoods/communities.  We have been reading informational books about neighborhoods, maps and community workers.  We have been discussing jobs and their importance.  The children have also discussed responsibility and stewardship in our community.  This will then lend itself to the economic issues and concerns families have.  If you would like to come in and share some information about your job with the class I would love to have you. Please send me a note and we can schedule something!! Also we will be taking a community walk within the next 2 weeks. A letter will be going home soon regarding this. Thank you :)

In religion the children are reading and learning about Baptism.  We have talked about the importance of becoming a member of the church and being part of God's family.  In addition, we have discussed godparents and the symbols of baptism.  If you would like to share a photograph of your child's baptism please feel free to send it in.  We would love to see it!!
