Assigned September 20th...Due October 20th As this has been a long-term project with two previous projects attached to their developing skills, the final grade will be determined by a culmination of all procedures *************************************** Third Hour Art Two 10:00-10:50 I. practice work pertaining to drapery work, shading and highlights, and body studies have been combined to help the students acquire the require concepts applied for working in pencil and charcoal mediums II. drapery/clothing study assigned September 13th (MON), students do a large lay out from a gridded, smaller picture III. gridded work is transferred to large, 118 lb quality paper IV. pencil medium is required for the final piece, due October 7th... September 27th through October 7th we will be working on the concepts of One and Two Point Perspective II. October 11th-October 20th....the students will complete a two point perspective design, using contour lines, shading, color pencils, rulers and eraser lifting III.The final project will be considered as part of their perspective final *************************************** 8th Grade Sixth HOUR/ 1:26-2:16 I. Students will draw a picture of a building or location area in Arcadia Valley II. Their pictures will be transferred to a smaller canvas board III. They will learn to apply acrylic paints and oil pastels to their pieces to complete a mixed-media landscape picture IV. Assigned September 27th...Due October 18th *************************************** 7th hour...........7th Grade...............2:20-3:10 I. Students will study mask-work of Africa II. they will then, recreate their own, interpretive mask III. using mixed media materials, they will apply them to their masks, which will be required to have a 2-dimension, raised facial feature effect IV.
