IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SENIORS: WRHS COLLEGE APPLICATION DAY!
College Application Week through CFNC.org will be November 16th-20th, 2009. Certain colleges waive their application fees for students applying during this week. As a part of West Rowan High School’s participation in CFNC.org College Application Week, on Wednesday, November 18th from 2:30-4:30 p.m. personnel will be available in the WRHS Media Center to assist students with the college application process and help them with completing college applications on-line at CFNC.org. Although this will be a drop-in event between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m., for planning purposes those students interested in participating should sign-up by name in the guidance office for this event by Monday, November 16th.
Following this CFNC.org application help session for students there will be an informational meeting for parents and students from 5:30-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18th in the WRHS Media Center to discuss the process of applying for college scholarships, financial aid procedures, etc. At this meeting presenters will give detailed scholarship and financial aid information to parents of students applying for college next year. |
