November Activities:
1.) Fitness Cups!

-Cup stacking is an element of the Project Fit initiative.  Students exercise to earn cups, exercises include walking, running and animal walks.  Once cups are earned student build their own "Tower".  Students are exercising, having fun and building personal "Towers"!

2.) Basketball!

-Students will learn fundamental skills utilized in the game of Basketball.  Bouncing, catching, dribbling, passing and scoring.   Grade 1 and 2 students will demonstrate these skills in a Basketball Tournament!

3.) Grade 1 and 2 Health-Nutrition

-Grade 1 and 2 students will learn the six food groups, discuss the food and activity pyramid, coordinate foods into proper food groups.

P.A.A.W. Physical Activity and Wellness Club meets on Thursday mornings at 8:00 am - 8:55 am.


Physical Education SAFETY:

- All students please wear sneakers that tie, lace or zip.

- No boots or slip-on shoes

- Students may wear skirts with shorts under or a "skort"

- Students may become hot during class, so please wear a T-Shirt under a long sleeve shirt or sweater.
