We finished the weather unit. Students had the option of videotaping themselves doing a weather forecast or taking a test. We experienced some minor glitches during this process, but the overall outcome was successful. 

We are now in the 2nd Quarter. The topics we will be covering is the Human Body System and Cells. The objectives: students will analyze, describe, explain, evaluate the functions of each system within the human body. As part of a major assessment of this unit, students will create a keynote slide presentation.

In the 3rd Quarter, we will be covering Heredity and Genetics. During this time, our team will incorporate an interdisciplinary unit centered on the Asian culture. 

In the 4th Quarter, we will covering basic physics and simple machines.
