1) Read THE TIME MACHINE, chapters 7-8, if ahead, 9-10.

2) Nightly Homework, COMIC STIP PROJECT. Create a comic strip panel for each of the chapters (12) showing the key image/idea of the chapter. Use dialogue (direct from novel) or paraphrase dialogue. See assignment and rubric.

3)THE TIME MACHINE writing assignment due Monday, September 22. Remember to use as much sensory detail in describing your object. Remember also that your scientific data comes to the wrong conclusion.

4) THE TIME MACHINE chapter 5 quiz on Wednesday, September 17.

5) THE TIME MACHINE chapters 1-2 vocabulary quiz on Thursday, September 18.

6) COMIC STRIP check for homework on Wednesday. Bring your comic strip, as much as you have completed, for a homework check. COMIC STRIP DUE DATE TBD.
