The 2nd and 3rd grades will be dismissing from the main office doors on 7th street starting Monday 4/2. We had a great time at The Central Park Zoo! I would like to give a special thank you to Mrs. Damodar-Desloire and Mrs. Baradas. You two were a tremendous help throughout the day and I greatly appreciate it! The students asked me if they can perform in a classroom talent show and I told them we can organize one on Thursday, May 24. The kids are very excited about it! They can sing a song, play an instrument, do a magic trick, whatever they would like to do. I have decorated the bulletin board for May with pictures of the students with their mothers. Please send in a picture of you with your child that you don't mind being cut down to size. The May Crowning will be Wednesday, May 23rd. The students will coming into school at 9 o'clock dressed in their communion outfits. Those who are not making their communion can wear light colored spring clothes. They will need to bring their uniform to change into for the rest of the day. There will be reserved seats behind the students for you to sit. You can come to the classroom after the mass to help your child change into their uniform. We won the most box tops and campbell's labels for education! We get two free dress down days as a class. We are going to use our first free dress down day on Thursday, May 24. Make sure that your child does not bring any toys to school. If they need to bring something for after school, remind them it needs to stay in their book bags until that time. The topic for our next book report will be whatever your child chooses. Your child should write neatly and there should be at least one paragraph in each section. The book report will be due Friday, June 1st.
