New semester, new classes. Statr them correctly.
What you need for English 1:
A notebook. 3-ring is the best because you can organize your assignments.
Paper. In your notebook. You WILL write SOMETHING everyday in English 1. Have something to write it on.
Pencil or pen. You need something to write with on your paper.

What you will be expected to do in English 1:
PASS YOUR EOC! If you come to class, focus, participate, work hard, and study you will pass, but you have to do your part.
Complete all tasks by due date. This includes projects which are usually two weeks in duration.
Respect your teacher/teachers. We know what we are doing and we are here to help you, take advantage of this.
Ask for help when you need it. Don't wait until you are behind.
Let others learn. You may get the objective or lesson while others are not there yet. I know this is frustrating but please do not distract them by disrupting class. They will return the favor when you need more time with something.

We will be starting with Mythology. We will start studying this on the first day. Please be ready to learn. There are only 90 days between now and exams. We need to take advantage of all of them.
