In the next few weeks:

Reading - We will be reading stories about surprises.  Our reading strategies will be to summarize, monitor and clarify, and ask questions.  We will also be attacking new words and working with all high frequency words.

Math - We will be developing number sense for whole numbers through 99.  Children need to know how to read numbers words zero thru twenty-five.  We are working with addition and subtraction.
