Week of May 17, 2010School will be closed on Mon., May 31st for Memorial Day Please visit this website weekly to find out information about what our class will be studying as well as other school information. Once you are in the website click on the "Parents" tab and then find the link for ParentLink. I update grades every Wednesday so you can see new updated grades every Thursday. If you have any questions please feel free to call me at 542-3551. Reading: This week we will be taking the Show What You Know end of the unit tests. This test will cover the reading skills worked on during this unit of reading. Math: The students will be taking a test on customary and metric units of measurements. Language Arts: The students will write a narrative paper using the elaboration skills that we have been working on. Science: We have begun our unit of study on animals. We will be focusing on Vertebrates. Please check your child's planner nightly and check their homework. This should also help you stay informed as to what we are doing in class. |
