Chapters 32-37

Students will learn about the geography of ancient Rome and its development, the rise of the Roman Republic, daily life in ancient Rome, the origins and spread of Christianity, and the legacy of Rome in the modern world.

 Chapter 32: Etruscans, Latins, palatine, cuniculus, and gladiator 

Chapter 33:Republic, senate, consul, veto, and tribune

Chapter 34:Civil War, Punic Wars, praetorian guard

Chapter 35:Forum, bulla, Thermopolia, atrium, stylus, circus maximus, and villa

Chapter 36:Prefect, messiah, gospel, baptize, disciple, parable, blasphemy, missionary

Chapter 37: Greco-Roman, renaissance, vault, dome

Please refer to the claendar for upcoming tests, quizzes, and folder checks. 

 

 The History Alive book is available in the library .


 

Students  should always reveiw  class notes

Always review vocabulary terms and definitions daily.

 

When there is a monthly folder checks students are encouraged to bring their social studies folder home to complete any unfinished wprk.
