Study Skills
1.Take notes in class. Date your notes.
2. Review daily- look over your notes & handouts each day.
3. Schedule Study Time
4. Make flash cards for important concepts or vocabulary
5. Ask a parent or friends to quiz you
6. Explain the main ideas of the chapter/sections/story to a friend or parent.
7. Your teacher may may give you clues about important information that you need to study for a test. Phrases to listen for:
" Write this down" " Let me summarize" " Let me say this again"
" This is important" " Remember..."
