It's MAP testing week!!

Sorry for the late update, apparently the page closed before I saved it on Monday.

Announcements:

We will start a time limit on make-up work this week. Some kids are accruing quite a stack of make-up work. It needs to be finished within one school week of being assigned or it will be a zero. This will help keep us on track to meet all the standards for each grade level. Please help your child understand how important it is to do classwork in class. It will be sent home as weekend homework if not complete. Also, anything not completed in the students' handwriting will be a zero.

PLEASE REMEMBER

The kids will come home with a nightly READING LOG. They will need to read for a 10 minutes (at least) every night, and have you sign the log to verify they did so. I will collect these once per month. Reading is a standards requirement for every grade level!! This is very important & I appreciate your help getting the kids to meet this standard!!

Behavior Folders will go home Fridays for good. Thanks again, parents, for doing such a wonderful job helping make sure they are initialed and returned on Mondays!! **Remember, these are for informational purposes only-any negative behaviors are primarily handled at school. When you see the behavior log, your child has already had his/her consequence for any negative behavior!**

Graded papers will go home on Tuesdays, to be signed & returned no later than FRIDAY. 

Homework will be written on an assignment sheet/homework log. They are responsible for having it nightly. If there is an emergency, please e-mail or send in a note, otherwise they will receive a consequence for this! *Please see attachment for Spelling Choices*
