           3. Science: Choose an eco-rowing topic and complete the "Hamburger" organizer to prepare to write your paragraph.

Thurs.  Tomorrow is the last day for Entertainment books/$.  Also, please consider bringing a toonie for Terri Fox.

        1. Math: Review for quiz tomorrow - Understanding standard and expanded notation for large numbers; being able to determine the value of a digit; being able to order numbers from least to greatest or greatest to least; being able to indicate < > =... See homework to focus study.

          2. Science: Complete your eco-rowing paragraph.  Neat, handwritten and double-spaced with a topic sentence, four supporting facts and a concluding statement.  Due tomorrow.  Please proofread your work for PR, BW, WC and KC.

          3.  French: Practice speaking French in front of family members using your family pictures or family tree and the family vocabulary sheet. 

          4.  Spelling.  Please finish finding "little" words inside the vocabulary words.  Prepare for the spelling quiz.

1. Professional Development Day - Friday, October 23rd
2. Terry Fox Turkey Trot was today. Our class ran 117 laps in total, the Grade 6 Gold Team a movie afternoon and the school trophy for Team Spirit. Several students in our class also won draw prizes.
3. Monterey Clothing orders are being taken up until next Wednesday.
