Here’s the anticipated agenda and homework assignments for 8th Grade Physical Science during the week of November 17, 2008:
Friday 11/14: Double math, no science.
Monday 11/17: Begin Chapter 12, with introduction on atomic structure. Assign "Adopt an Element" project. HW: Read pages 336-343; respond to #1-7 for FRIDAY.
Tuesday 11/18: Notes on 12-1; BRING IN INDEX CARDS, so you can make flash cards for the elements you will be required to memorize. HW: See Monday's assignment.
Wednesday 11/19: WASHINGTON DC FIELD TRIP. NO CLASS.
Thursday 11/20: Limited class time. Maybe we'll make some Gak! HW: See Monday's assignment.
Friday 11/21: Begin Bohr Diagrams. HW: None.
The Adopt An Element project will be due Wednesday December 3. It is an individual that requires no special materials.
