November News


Classes: 
During the month of November, kindergarten and first grades will work on a variety of social skills. Second and third grades will complete units on effective study skills.  As part of our focus on character education, fourth grade will study citizenship and responsibility.  Fourth grade will finish a unit on conflict resolution and bullying.

Salvation Army Canned Food Drive:
Isenberg will be collecting donations of canned food items from November 23rd through December 11th for the Salvation Army.  The newly formed Student Government Association will be in charge of the drive.  Please check your pantry and send canned food items on these days.  Cans should not be damaged or have expired expiration dates as they may have to be discarded.  Our goal is to collect 40 boxes this year.

Inview Scores: 
Inview scores are being returned for all third and fifth grade students who took the assessment in early September.  Parent reports will be sent home with report cards.  Please remember that this is just one small piece of data on your child's progress. Should you have any questions about the scores, you may contact your child's teacher or the guidance office.

Christmas:
Thank you for the applications that were returned for the Toys for Tots program and First Methodist Church's holiday programs.  All requests will be honored and you will be contacted with dates soon.
