October 29:  Early Release and Fall Festival Classroom Celebration
October 31:  Halloween
What are we studying this month?

Reading:  We are focusing on the reading strategy of asking questions.

Math:  We will be looking at estimating, adding and subtracting whole numbers and problem solving.

Writing:  We are sharpening our skills as writers in the area of focusing our ideas through using "seed" stories.

Social Studies:  We will be starting our Pirate unit later this month.  Right now we are working on our colony/settlement project.
