Study guides for the year-end exams went home this week—please sign and return.
Grade 4—We are continuing learning about bar graphs and line graphs, the problem solving skill of use a model and Venn Diagram and we will begin area; the following week we will begin exam review. Grade 5— We are finishing up the coordinate plane and problem solving strategies of working backwards and solve a simpler problem; the following week we will begin exam review. Grade 6—We will work some more with consumer math skills and proportions and then begin our exam review. Grade 7— We will finish properties with monomials, the problem solving strategy of act it out, volume of a sphere and predicting actions of a larger group by using a sample; the following week we will begin exam review Grade 8—I will continue to assign Acuity tests each week. This is an excellent review for the final. It is a 2-day final. Please continue to take the assigned Acuity tests as this is the best practice. They may use their calculators for the entire test. Grades will then be sent to the Archdiocesan schools.
