This year I have been chosen to play the starring role in a movie called "Second Grade." I was so happy to except this role here at Morgan School, because I hear that Second Grade is so awesome! I also will have the pleasure in teaching all of the cast members Reading and Phonics during this Epic Blockbuster Year! I have been very busy setting the scene for a great year and can't wait to meet all the cast and crew that will make it so wonderful! Please stay tuned to my website as it will be updated monthly so you may view what is happening in our studio. Homework will be posted each Monday of every week. Please feel free to e-mail if you would like. Class Schedule Monday - Art Tuesday - P.E. Wednesday - Music Thursday - Library/Guidance Friday - Computer Stay tuned to our Coming Attractions this Week: October 17-21, 2011 Dear Parents, Our sincere thanks go to all who helped with Morgan's Fall Festival. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We all worked to make this a success, and you were part of that success! This week we will begin a new unit filled with stories about nature, something all us enjoy! We will do activities on Morgan’s nature trail in the coming weeks and will begin taking pictures of fall. This weeks story, Henry and Mudge, is a good bridge from our silly story unit to stories about nature since this story is both silly and about nature! Enjoy reading with your child this week as we begin this unit. In math we are reviewing many concepts in preparation for a district math test. This includes place value, hundreds boards, knowing when to add and subtract, graphs and lots of word problems. In science we will complete our study on seasons in the next few weeks and will begin talking about government.
