Mount Ulla School Day at McLaughlin's Farmhouse on May 7

The annual Mount Ulla School Day at McLaughlin's Farmhouse Country Store was held on Saturday, May 7.  Many thanks for all students, parents, and staff who came to shop, eat, and jump in the bouncy house.   10% of the total sales for the day will be donated to the Mount Ulla School Media Center to support end of year reading activities.  We are especially grateful to Bill McLaughlin and the rest of the staff at McLaughlin's Farmhouse Country Store for their generosity to us!

Aluminum Can Drive

Second graders are sponsoring an aluminum can drive.  We want to encourage all members of the community to bring Al cans and place them in the trailer at the front of the school.  The money will go to support the media program.  We are very grateful to Mr. Tommy Davis of Davis Enterprise for loaning us the trailer and for recycling our cans for us.

Recycling

Students and staff at Mt. Ulla School are trying to do a better job of recycling so that we can take care of our Earth.  Please join us in reusing and recycling everything possible.

Accelerated Reader

This year, parents of second through fourth grade students are able to monitor their child’s AR progress online.  A paper was sent home with each child at the beginning of the second semester, giving parents the information necessary to do this.  The Internet address is https://hosted251.renlearn.com/39471/HomeConnect/Login.aspx.  A child’s username and password that he/she uses at school is required to access your child’s account.  If you have questions about this or need assistance, please call me.
