IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER November 11- Veterans Day, No School November 12- Issue Report Cards for First Quarter COMMUNICATION: Planners are checked daily for any notes you may have written to me about your child. Please check your child's planner every day for any notes that I may have written to you. Sign your name where indicated so that I will know that you have read the note. If you feel the need to respond to my note, please write your concerns in the planner. If you do not want your child to read the note write it on a seperate sheet of paper, put it in an envelope and staple to the planner page.
YOU WILL HAVE ACCESS TO YOU CHILD'S GRADES BY USING THE POWERSCHOOL WEB SITE. A LETTER WILL BE SENT HOME EXPLAINING HOW TO ACCESS THE SITE.

Please make sure that your child reads at least 30 minutes every night for a total of 3 hours every week. The more you practice with your child the better he/she will perform on tests.

FOR YOU INFORMATION: If you child is absent you must write a note explaining the absence. If a note is not sent with the student the absence will be marked unsatisfactory.
Any work your child misses can be made up when they return to class if they have a satisfactory absence. A satisfactory absence is when the student is sick, there is a death in the family, a family member is seriously ill, or a religious holiday.
